Crooked: not forming a straight line; having many sharp bends.

Short views: Lacking in breadth or scope.

Fringe: an area of hair hanging over the forehead that is cut shorter than the rest of the hair.

To stomach: to be able to accept an unpleasant idea or watch something unpleasant.
